Brandy Elliss joined Peters and Nolan, LLC in April 2025, where she focuses her practice on misdemeanor criminal defense and personal injury matters. She brings a diverse legal background with extensive courtroom experience and a commitment to helping clients navigate the legal system with confidence and thorough understanding.
Before joining Peters and Nolan, Brandy served as a prosecutor with the Greeley District Attorney's Office, the Mesa County District Attorney's Office, and the Fruita Municipal Prosecutor. In those roles, she handled a wide range of misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony criminal cases, gaining valuable experience in criminal law and trial advocacy. She has also worked in private practice, assisting clients with estate planning, probate matters, and adoptions.
Brandy believes that informed clients are empowered clients. She is dedicated to helping individuals understand the legal issues they face and guiding them through what are often some of life's most challenging circumstances with compassion, integrity, and practical advice.
A Colorado native, Brandy graduated as the valedictorian of her high school class in Mancos, Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Counseling from Mesa State College before receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2003.
Outside of the office, Brandy enjoys spending time with her family. She and her high school sweetheart have been married for many years and are the proud parents of three sons. She is passionate about health and wellness and serves as a fitness and nutrition coach in her spare time. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, hunting, and attending church with her family.
